3 Wise Gas Tips for Your VW and Audi

3. Buy your gas early or late in the day

Remember the gas you're being sold at the pumps is by volume, not density. As the day heats up so does the fuel, expanding in density. You get more bang for your buck if you fill up in the early morning or evening hours when the temperature is cooler and the fuel that is going into the tank of your Volkswagen or Audi is denser.
